A BIT ABOUT ME
A Responsible Editor
As an experienced Secondary English teacher in Columbus City Schools since 2001, I have a deep passion for reading, writing, and the art of improving written work. Guiding individuals in understanding the intricacies of the English language and creating high-quality documents brings me immense joy. With a strong background in the writing process, MLA format, and writing conventions such as capitalization, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling, I am well-equipped to enhance any piece of writing.
My educational journey began at Northland High School, from where I graduated in 1997. Following that, I pursued a degree in Secondary Education - Integrated Reading & Language Arts (grades 7 - 12) at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, which I successfully obtained in 2001. In 2006, I furthered my knowledge by completing a Master's degree in Education Administration and obtaining my Principal Licensure in 2013. Despite my extensive experience, I continue to find immense fulfillment as a classroom teacher in public education!
